Trenchless Pipe Lining

What is it ?
Sewer pipe lining has its origins in a process called sliplining, where a smaller system of carrier pipes would be inserted and pulled through an existing damaged pipe to rehabilitate the sewer pipe system without the need for a full replacement.
The most popular methods today for sewer pipe lining involve an initial sewer camera inspection to verify cracks or a compromised pipe.
Once confirmed, a tube is inserted that has been saturated with epoxy, which is then cured in 10 minutes against the wall of the pipes using the latest Bluelight LED technology to seal the pipe lining into place.
New Bluelight LED Technology for Sewer Lining
The two most popular methods today for sewer pipe lining are the traditional heat method of using hot air to inflate an inserted tube. The epoxy lining gets cured in place and pressed against the walls of the existing piping to create a new seal and lining throughout the walls of the existing pipes.
Drain & Sewer Renewal is proud to introduce the latest pipe lining technology: Bluelight LED sealing. Using Bluelight LED systems, our technicians can now cure the lining of pipes with even stronger accuracy and with increased speed, up to five times faster than the traditional hot air method.
This type of epoxy pipe lining is known as a trenchless pipe lining because it does not involve digging a trench in your yard for replacement. The new pipe lining creates a strong seal giving new life to the pipes with a lifespan that can last several decades.
The Benefits
Sewer pipe lining can be a great trenchless sewer replacement solution for clay piping, cast iron, concrete, plastic and PVC pipes. There are many reasons to consider trenchless pipe lining including:
-
Eliminates the cost and mess that come with digging up a yard
-
Works for horizontal, lateral and vertical pipes
-
Avoids damage of underground utilities
-
Repair or replace damaged pipes without the need to repave or stop traffic during work
-
Save on the overall cost of a sewer repair and replacement
-
The flow of the pipes can be improved
-
Prevents root intrusion and works to eliminate piping erosion, additional cracks and leaks
